Terms of Service

Use email as a tool—and respect its boundaries.

By using FWD, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, stop creating addresses, signing in, or using forwarding features. Updated September 7, 2026.

Allowed uses and prohibited uses

Normal email use is welcome. Uses that harm others are not.

Whether a use is allowed depends on the conduct itself—not on whether you use a temporary address or forwarding alias.

Allowed uses

  • Test websites and email flows you are authorized to operate.
  • Receive one-time codes, download links, and low-risk notifications.
  • Create revocable forwarding aliases for shopping, communities, or projects.
  • Reduce exposure of your primary email while following third-party rules.

Clearly prohibited

  • Send spam, phishing, scams, or malware.
  • Impersonate others, infringe intellectual property, or obtain data unlawfully.
  • Evade platform bans, register accounts in bulk, or manipulate activity results.
  • Probe, attack, overload, or bypass technical limits on the service.

Handling violations

We may limit requests, remove content, suspend aliases, or block access based on risk. Serious, repeated, or potentially harmful conduct may result in immediate termination without prior notice.

We may retain relevant records and cooperate with authorized authorities when legally required or necessary to protect legitimate rights and interests.

Service boundaries

How features, content, and responsibility are divided.

The table below summarizes the core boundaries; the following sections form part of the complete terms.

Topic Our commitment Your responsibility
Temporary inbox Provide tools to create, view, extend, and replace addresses Save essential information before expiration
Forwarding and archiving Attempt delivery and show status briefly as described by the product Maintain a valid receiving mailbox and check delivery results
Account security Provide verification codes and optional one-time-code protection Protect your receiving mailbox, device, and authenticator
Third-party content Provide limited transmission and display capabilities Decide whether messages, links, and attachments are trustworthy

Account access and control

Sign-in depends on your control of the receiving mailbox. Use an email address you are authorized to use, and take responsibility for actions completed through it.

If you suspect unauthorized access, secure the receiving mailbox immediately, sign out of active sessions, and contact support@fwdtemp.com.

Availability and changes

We maintain the service reasonably, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or compatibility with every sending system. Maintenance, security incidents, or third-party failures may cause temporary unavailability.

We may improve, replace, or discontinue features; where practicable, we will give advance notice of material changes.

Liability and disputes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect losses caused by missed messages, third-party content, or improper use of temporary addresses.

Any liability that cannot be excluded remains subject to applicable law. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it in good faith.
