Delivery timeline diagnosis

Verification email missing? Start with the wait time.

A delayed email does not always mean the address is invalid. Confirm the sending action, address status, and wait window before deciding whether to refresh, resend, or switch addresses.

0–2 minutes

Stay on the current page

Most instant verification codes are still within the normal delivery window. Refresh your inbox once, but avoid repeated resend attempts, which may trigger the sender’s rate limits.

2–10 minutes

Check the address and countdown

Compare the registration address character by character, confirm that the disposable inbox has not expired, and check whether the site clearly shows “Sent.”

Over 10 minutes

Restart delivery

Resend only once. If nothing arrives, create a new address and submit it again. Use a recoverable long-term email for important accounts.

Symptom guide

Four common symptoms, with four ways to respond.

Do not try everything at once. Change only one variable at a time to identify where the delay occurs.

  • No “sent successfully” message from the site: First check form errors, your connection, and rate limits. Refreshing the inbox cannot fix an email that was never sent.
  • The countdown has reached zero: The old address no longer receives mail. Create a new address, update it on the registration page, and send the message again.
  • Other emails arrive, but one site’s email never does: The sender may block disposable domains. Try long-term forwarding or a regular email address instead.
  • The subject appears, but the body will not open: Open the email again first. If it still fails, note the time and sender, then contact support@fwdtemp.com.

Once diagnosed, return to the inbox and take the next step only.
